Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: Found in shampoos, liquid soaps, and bath bombs. Helps to remove dirt, create a rich, foaming lather, increase product viscosity. Traditional substitute for sodium salts derived from animals.

Parabens: Found in shampoos, conditioners, lotions, facial cleansers, exfoliants. Look for Ethylparaben; Butylparaben; Methylparaben; Isobutylparaben; Isopropylparaben. Known to trigger irritant and allergic reactions in skin; potentially linked to tumor growth in breast cancer; found to mimic hormone estrogen and disrupt normal function of hormonal systems, affecting reproductive systems; linked to decreased fertility, decreased menstrual cycle length; butylparaben has been found to work with other cells to switch on cancer genes, increasing growth of breast cancer; linked to environmental harm in oceans. Used as an artificial preservative in cosmetic and bodycare products. EWG Score 7 - 8.
